Our History
The Kyrgyzstan Institute of Applied Technology was founded in 2005 with the vision of providing world-class technical education in Central Asia. What began as a small institution with just three departments and 200 students has grown into a comprehensive university with multiple faculties and over 5,000 students.
Over the years, KIAT has established itself as a center of excellence in technical education, research, and innovation. The university has formed partnerships with leading institutions around the world, providing students with opportunities for international exposure and collaboration.
Today, KIAT continues to evolve and adapt to the changing needs of society and industry, maintaining its commitment to academic excellence and innovation.
Faculty and Leadership
Dr. Karimov has over 20 years of experience in higher education administration and is committed to advancing KIAT's mission of excellence in technical education.
Dr. Ivanova oversees all academic programs and ensures that KIAT maintains the highest standards of educational quality and innovation.
Dr. Asanov leads KIAT's research initiatives and works to foster a culture of innovation and discovery across all departments.
Campus Facilities
Our state-of-the-art library houses over 100,000 books, journals, and digital resources. It provides a quiet and comfortable environment for study and research.
KIAT has over 30 specialized laboratories equipped with the latest technology for hands-on learning and research in various fields of engineering and technology.
Our campus features a gymnasium, swimming pool, tennis courts, and a football field, providing students with ample opportunities for physical activity and recreation.
