"KIAT's emphasis on innovation and practical problem-solving gave me the foundation to work on cutting-edge technologies in the automotive industry."
My journey from KIAT to Tesla was made possible by the strong engineering fundamentals I learned during my studies. The robotics lab at KIAT was where I discovered my passion for automation and mechanical systems. After graduation, I worked for a local manufacturing company before being recruited by Tesla. I now work on the design and optimization of manufacturing processes for electric vehicles, contributing to a more sustainable future.
Mechanical engineering has always fascinated me, particularly the way machines and systems can be designed to solve complex problems. At KIAT, I found a program that not only taught the theoretical principles but also emphasized hands-on experience and innovation.
The university's well-equipped laboratories, particularly the robotics lab, provided an ideal environment for experimentation and learning. I spent countless hours there, working on projects that ranged from simple mechanisms to complex automated systems. This practical experience complemented the theoretical knowledge gained in the classroom and prepared me for real-world engineering challenges.
After graduating from KIAT, I joined a local manufacturing company where I worked on improving production processes. This experience was valuable, but I aspired to work at the forefront of technology and innovation. When an opportunity at Tesla arose, I was well-prepared thanks to my education and work experience.
At Tesla, I'm part of a team that designs and optimizes manufacturing processes for electric vehicles. Our work focuses on increasing efficiency, reducing waste, and improving quality – all essential aspects of sustainable manufacturing. It's rewarding to know that my work contributes to the transition to clean energy and transportation.
The problem-solving skills and innovative thinking I developed at KIAT have been crucial in my career. In the rapidly evolving field of electric vehicle manufacturing, we constantly face new challenges that require creative solutions. The foundation I received at KIAT has enabled me to adapt and thrive in this dynamic environment.
To engineering students at KIAT, I would emphasize the importance of combining theoretical knowledge with practical experience. Take advantage of the laboratories and project opportunities, and don't be afraid to tackle challenging problems. These experiences will prepare you for a successful career in engineering, wherever your path may lead.
