International Workshop

KIAT recently hosted an international workshop on emerging technologies, attracting participants from 15 countries. The three-day event featured keynote speeches, panel discussions, and hands-on sessions on topics such as blockchain, quantum computing, and the Internet of Things. The workshop provided a platform for researchers, industry professionals, and students to exchange ideas and explore potential collaborations. The event was a huge success and received positive feedback from all participants.

The workshop was inaugurated by the Minister of Education, who commended KIAT for its initiative in bringing together experts from around the world. The first day of the workshop focused on blockchain technology, with presentations on its applications in finance, supply chain management, and healthcare. Participants had the opportunity to engage in a hands-on session where they developed a simple blockchain application.

The second day was dedicated to quantum computing, with keynote speeches by renowned experts in the field. Dr. Elena Ivanova, a professor at KIAT, presented her groundbreaking research on quantum algorithms. The day concluded with a panel discussion on the future of quantum computing and its potential impact on various industries.

The final day of the workshop covered the Internet of Things (IoT) and its applications in smart cities, agriculture, and healthcare. Participants were introduced to various IoT devices and platforms and had the opportunity to develop a simple IoT application.

The workshop also included networking sessions, allowing participants to connect with peers and explore potential collaborations. Several participants expressed interest in establishing research partnerships with KIAT.

"The workshop was incredibly informative and well-organized," said Dr. John Smith, a participant from the United Kingdom. "The mix of theoretical presentations and practical sessions was perfect, and I've made valuable connections that I hope will lead to future collaborations."

Given the success of the workshop, KIAT plans to make it an annual event, with each year focusing on different emerging technologies.
