New Campus Building Inauguration
KIAT inaugurates a new state-of-the-art building for the Computer Science department.

KIAT has inaugurated a new state-of-the-art building for the Computer Science department. The five-story building features modern classrooms, research laboratories, a library, and collaborative spaces for students and faculty. The building is equipped with the latest technology and has been designed to provide an optimal learning environment. The inauguration ceremony was attended by government officials, university administrators, faculty members, and students.
The new building, named the "Innovation Hub," represents a significant investment in the university's infrastructure and reflects KIAT's commitment to providing students with the best possible learning environment. The building's design incorporates sustainable features, including solar panels, rainwater harvesting systems, and energy-efficient lighting.
"This building is more than just a physical structure; it's a symbol of our commitment to excellence in education and research," said Dr. Aibek Karimov, the President of KIAT, during the inauguration ceremony. "It provides our students and faculty with the resources they need to push the boundaries of knowledge and innovation."
The ground floor of the building houses a spacious lobby, administrative offices, and a cafeteria. The second and third floors contain classrooms of various sizes, equipped with interactive whiteboards, projectors, and other modern teaching aids. The fourth floor is dedicated to research laboratories, including a high-performance computing lab, a robotics lab, and a cybersecurity lab. The fifth floor houses a library, study rooms, and collaborative spaces where students can work on group projects.
"The new building provides an excellent environment for learning and research," said Dr. Elena Ivanova, the Head of the Computer Science Department. "The state-of-the-art facilities will enhance our teaching capabilities and support our research initiatives."
Students have responded enthusiastically to the new building. "The facilities are amazing," said Alina Bekova, a third-year Computer Science student. "The collaborative spaces are particularly useful for group projects, and the research laboratories provide hands-on experience with the latest technology."
The construction of the Innovation Hub is part of KIAT's broader campus development plan, which includes the renovation of existing buildings and the construction of new facilities to accommodate the growing student population and expanding academic programs.
